I’m SS Julian (he/him), a senior product designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I’m also the writer, illustrator, and publisher of the graphic novel series Octopolis, a long-form science fiction narrative celebrating marine environments and exploring climate risk. The series was a finalist for the Russ Manning Award for Promising Newcomer at the 2025 Eisner Awards. As a cartoonist I am represented by Jen Azantian.
